For9a aims to provide young people from the Middle East and beyond with educational freedom and opportunities that would otherwise be inaccessible to them.
For9a aims to create a leading educational opportunity platform capable of catering to young people on an international scale. We aim to provide all users with skills needed for a secure and successful future.
For9a is an online platform that provides free educational advice, capacity building and skill development opportunities for young people in the Middle East and North Africa.
For9a provides young people with educational, capacity building and skills development opportunities such as:
scholarships | fellowships | grants | awards | cultural exchanges | conferences | trainings | seminars | contests | competitions | festivals| volunteer opportunities | internships | job openings
The For9a initiative was established by Leaders of Tomorrow using a budget of zero. Volunteers and staff have worked tirelessly to establish a solid educational platform capable of delivering free educational assistance to young people. The For9a team is continuously working to develop and improve the platform in order to deliver the best possible service. Since its creation it has grown exponentially and provides services to thousands of youths in countries across the Middle East and North Africa.
-It is the right of every Middle Eastern and North African student to have access to educational tools that will enable future success.
-Youth in the Middle East and North Africa have long been deprived of the proper tools and guidance needed to prepare them for a successful future.
-Educational opportunities are often under promoted and do not reach the appropriate beneficiaries. This initiative aims to create a strong basis for providing educational opportunities to those who will benefit from it.
-For9a provides and maintains a website (for9a.com) which allows students to access over 10 new opportunities every week in both English and Arabic. Learning materials and a blog are also available on the website
– For9a is also very active on social media- ensuring that students receive regular updates about the new opportunities available through the initiative. For9a maintains a Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest page and also sends out a regular email newsletter.
-For9a works in close collaboration with local media outlets such as radio stations to ensure that updates regarding new opportunities reach young people in areas with limited access to the internet.
-For9a implements regular career training workshops which cover topics such as: Resume writing, Cover letter writing and Interview skills
-To provide youth with the latest educational, capacity building and skills development opportunities through a highly user friendly, attractive and dynamic platform.
-To encourage youth empowerment and provide our users with the opportunities that best suits them.
– To promote a culture of sharing and equality among youth.
– To advance the employability of less advantaged young people.
For9a was founded by Leaders of Tomorrow with the help dedicated staff and volunteers. No funding was received to assist in its establishment. After observing the rapid growth the platform has experienced in recent years and how effective it has been in providing youth with a wide variety of educational services, we are now giving the community a chance to donate and assist in sustaining the platform to ensure that young people can continue to benefit.
