Through our exchange program, young people are given the opportunity to travel the globe and promote cultural understanding and awareness. We work with a number of international partners including Erasmus and the European Volunteer Service.
Exchange participants learn about the cultures of the countries they visit. They participate in talks and conferences while abroad, breaking down stereotypes about their Jordanian culture, as well as returning with a better understanding of others’ cultures.
I went to Munich, Germany; participated in an exchange program with Leaders of Tomorrow and AEGEE Munich. It was my first time abroad, and I was amazed by the German infrastructure. The language seemed to be a bit hard, but I like the sound of it. During this exchange we tried to change some of the Western ideas about Muslims and terrorism. I believe we succeeded to influence and alter some of their predisposed ideas. Vice versa, I learned a lot about Western culture and how diverse it is. ” – Waleed Ismail
I got the opportunity to represent Leaders of Tomorrow during an exchange with Crossing Borders Organisation in Denmark. It was a very nice and unique experience with a very diverse group including Danish, Tunisians, Egyptians and Moroccans where I learned how different each country is. It improved my communication and leadership skills and I learned a lot about media and public speaking. Thank you so much for this great opportunity! .” – Najwan Abu Shawareb
I was part of a building seminar program called Integration International with Leaders of Tomorrow to Prague and Poděbrady in the Czech Republic. I represented our work at Leaders of Tomorrow and built partnerships with NGOs from different countries. It was an inspiring exchange experience. ” – Salwa Abdelkhaliq
